Flamingo Valley
Overview
A feature wall of stacked brick grounds this home, drawing from the client’s Indonesian heritage while setting a warm tone for gatherings and conversation. Beyond it, the living and study flow into one another, allowing personal collections and daily routines to sit comfortably side by side.
The dining area becomes an active stage, with a central island that invites shared preparation as much as shared meals. Brick, wood, and stone recall natural craft, while precise detailing keeps the spaces fresh. The result is less about display and more about creating a home that feels both rooted and alive.

This home draws warmth from material and memory. Stacked red brick defines the interior, grounding the space in texture and tone. The design brings together tradition and clarity, shaped for openness and stillness at once.

Light moves easily from the living room into the study. Openings in the brick wall allow connection without exposure, blending privacy and flow. The shared surface pulls both spaces into quiet conversation.

The kitchen island anchors the centre. Everything moves around it.

Dark wood panels and tonal contrasts guide the rest of the home. From bedroom to bath, each room holds to the same rhythm — calm, weighted, and close to the ground.
