Chateau Le Fame
Overview
With its split-level plan and arched windows, the home carried distinctive charm. To enhance continuity between levels, built-in settees were added beside the step-up, creating a gentler transition while framing the living area. These elements provide both architectural presence and extra seating, extending the space’s flexibility.
In the master bath, marble tiles reflect her love of luxury while travertine grounds his preference for warmth. Throughout, minimalist and mid-century influences layer clean lines with warmth, allowing the home’s character to evolve into something both practical and enduring.

This split-level apartment balances contrast with calm. Arched windows and level changes were kept, not corrected — framed as part of the home’s rhythm. A pair of built-in settees flank the steps, shaping the living room into its own quiet zone.

The kitchen anchors the plan. A travertine island and slanted cabinetry define its edge, while the open pantry supports the flow between function and rest. Materials were chosen for depth, not display, layered with purpose.

Each detail holds steady. Nothing overstays its welcome.

In the bathroom, two tastes meet without noise. Dark breccia and warm travertine play side by side, textured and true. The home moves slowly, paced by the people who live within it.
