Overview
Conceived as a family retreat, this home blends natural textures with modern comfort. A dining space anchored by a paper pendant from Cult and Hay flows into a dry pantry lined with Kstone marble, designed to hold the family’s wine and coffee rituals. Rockstone accents and a central paludarium by Zookeeper ground the space with tactile depth.
Details extend into private spaces, where bedside pendants from Cult and New Works maintain continuity. A dragon head motif at the pantry backsplash nods to their child’s birth year, while a cracked-edge marble wall celebrates stone’s raw origins. The result is a setting that balances intimacy, hospitality, and the timeless appeal of natural elements.

This home was designed to bring nature close. Wood, stone, and soft light come together to form a living space that feels still, rooted, and calm. The layout opens up for a family of three, made to hold both quiet rituals and shared gatherings.

A dry pantry and dining zone were tucked into the open plan, wrapped in marble with water-like veining. The dragon motif sits quietly in the backsplash, a subtle gesture toward the family’s new chapter. At the centre, a planted terrarium sets the tone.

Texture carries the story. Nothing feels untouched.

From the cracked-edge marble in the living room to soft lighting by the bedside, every material was chosen to age with grace. The home moves gently, holding space for both connection and pause.
